1. BDCU Level 1

This training module addresses the competences needed to perform the deployment, setting up and use of the BDCU. Labels in the training content indicate clearly when it applies to a specific configuration only (S2C2 vs C230, compact vs dedicated nozzle, ...). Some of the practical competencies are not specific to the BDCU but apply to all the Dekimo boards (mostly electrometers) part of the hardware of a PT System.

Goals

  • Description of the role of the BDCU, and its integration within the treatment process and the treatment system.
  • Description of the hardware and software architecture: the building blocks, their roles and where to find them.
  • Practical aspects of Dekimo/BDCU boards
  • Connection to Dekimo/BDCU boards: basics, configuration needed, software tools, ...
  • Description and use of the dedicated service screens and tools
  • Basics of troubleshooting: BDCU-related (hardware, software, communication,...), PBS-related (cyclic checks,...)
